However when we went to our local dealerships to try and trade in our X 5 for a newer model, they refused to meet us halfway and made it clear they were not interested in meeting our needs. After a night of trying to figure out a way out of the BMW product line, we found a Lexus that we really liked. My wife and I drove over and immediately we knew we had made the right decision. They were courteous, helpful and let us look around without hovering.
